How we met

When? Fall 1997

Where? Ann Arbor, MI at Lighhouse Community CRC

We met in Ann Arbor, MI at Lighthouse Community CRC in the fall of 1997. A few months later, Tigst asked Brian to go to her School dance. Brian said, "Okay!" Before the dance in early January, Brian took Tigst out to dinner to Miki (Japanese) for her birthday. Then, we got hot chocolate from Caribou Coffee and went for an evening stroll around the quiet, snow-covered campus. In one small section of untouched snow, Brian even stomped through the snow to spell his name, on a dare from Tigst. At the dance, we danced the night away, and have been dancing ever since!
