Michael asked Liz to be his wife in their kitchen on November 10th, after he got home from work. He came home with flowers and a bottle of champagne. Although it was not a complete surprise to Liz, he made her work for the ring. After he tried to convince her that he had put it in the bottle of champagne, taped it to the bottom of the champagne bottle, buried it in the bouquet of flowers, or left it in the car out in the garage, he finally got down on one knee and presented her with a 1 carat pricess cut white gold engagement ring. Of course, he didn't exactly ask right away because he figured it was implied but Liz insisted on making him officially ask for her hand in marriage and without hesitation, she accepted!
