Elizabeth

Elizabeth grew up in Brooklyn, NY to two wonderful parents. Unfortunately, hardship befell Liz at an early age when her mom was diagnosed with Multiple Schlerosis when Liz was only 5 years old. And then, her father had a massive stroke that has be hospitalized in a nursing home since Liz was 12. Despite all these hardships, and with the love and support of her family, she came through it all. She graduated NYU with her Bachelor's degree in 2004 and is currently working for a hedge fund in human resources. She is also finishing up her Master's degree in Elementary Education from Touro College. She hopes to start teaching either 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade next September. . She is the only child so her mom is super excited to be the Mother of the Bride!

Michael

Michael is the middle child of his three brothers, but the first to be engaged. He grew up in Manhasset, NY and attended Manhattan College and received his Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. However, Michael chose a different path in life and left computers to become one of NY's Bravest. He is now a NYC Fireman working out of Ladder 115 in Long Island City (Queens), NY. He loves his job very much. He was also part of the Manhasset/Lakeville Volunteer fire department for nearly 7 years and is still involved with the company as much as he can be. Liz and Michael live together in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn with their dog Pepper.
