The Place Mannino's in Commack

The Setup

We were supposed to go to Mannino's in Commack with another couple. We're on our way to meet them so Joey calls to make sure they are ready. He calls and they say they're sick and not feeling well. Joey is pissed. He gets over it and decides that we're gonna go there anyway.

We were supposed to go to Mannino's in Commack with another couple. We're on our way to meet them so Joey calls to make sure they are ready. He calls and they say they're sick and not feeling well. Joey is pissed. He gets over it and decides that we're gonna go there anyway. So we get there and get a nice corner table. We order our food and it's delicious of course. Then we order dessert. I should have known something was funny because Joey rarely orders dessert, plus he had a drink with dinner which doesn't occur much either. As they bring the desserts out, the bring with it a plate of rose petals with a purple box in the center. I realize what it is and turn to Joey. He's already on his knee, proposing. I start to cry, barely remembering to say yes. Everyone in the room claps and congratulates us. It was a great moment that I'll always remember :) After all this I find out that the restaurant and our friends were in on it. It was all a setup and I was completely surprised :)
