Where? NYC

Dave and I met through Singlesnet.com. We started messaging each other in the beginning of Sept 2007 but finally decided to meet the weekend of the Yankees Division series vs Cleveland in NYC to watch the game at a bar right by the stadium.

We met up at Grand Central station and hoped on the 4 to 161st Street. I was so nervous the whole way up because Dave was such a hottie and who knew if he thought I was attactive. When we got to the stadium we went to Stan's across the street from the McDonalds off of 161st street. Everything was going fine until my 2nd beer. I am not a lightweight by any means but it was so hot with all the pre gaming Yankee fans and me hardly eating anything I started to feel nausous. I told Dave that I need to step outside and thats when this date starts to get fun.

From the time I started to walk to the door I pass out and fall on my ankle. I get up, with Dave holding me up and limp to the nearest lamp post. The whole world was spinning and when it finally stop and the frest air hit I was like ow my ankle really hurts. So Dave said thats it Im going to get you something to eat! Walks me over to the island across the street from the bar and McDonalds and says dont go anywhere ill be right back. At this point im like wow yeah I really screwed this one up. He isnt going to return he is just going to ditch me in the Bronx and I will have to hobble all the way back to Penn. In no more then 10 mins time Dave was back with a cheeseburger and soda. From that moment on Dave has not left my side. After I was a little better Dave and I went down to midtown to watch the game at ESPNZone. He helped me for the rest of the night. Our first kiss was right before Dave's train left at Grand Central. After that I knew from that moment this was the man that I was going to marry.
