The Easter Bunny came!

The Setup

Vin had my ring hidden in my Easter Basket in the back of his Mom's Car.....

One Carat Princess Cut, with a diamond on each side, on a white gold ring.

Easter Sunday morning..... I woke up and gave Vin his Easter card and he saddly said " Sorry hun but I didn't get you a basket this year" I told him that was ok.. I usually end up eating mine and his ! Vin and about 30 members of his family, and my immediate family were all meeting for Easter Sunday dinner at the Milleridge Inn. We arrived there around 2:45 and Vin had desperately tried to lure me and my family over to his Mother's car.. Unfortunately I was not cooperative ( poor guy)....... We all went inside to wait to be seated for our 3:00 dinner... Vin had suggested that we put his niece and nephew's Easter baskets in his Mom's car and willingly I followed! We got out to the car and Vin said " Oh I did get you an Easter Basket"... I said :"yippee" like a little kid in a candy shop. He handed me a bag that had an Anne Geddes baby doll dressed like a bunny, and an Easter Basket.. I was so happy to get the doll, I payed little attention to the basket and threw it to the side. He told me that I had to open the basket and I insisted that I could see what was inside it .. " Why do I need to open it now?". I eventually opened the basket and inside was a smaller bag with a picture of Vin in it.. The picture was taken from our last trip to Disney. Vin was wearing a Goofy hat and making a funny, goofy face... and at the bottom of it read... " Will you marry me?".. I immediately broke out into tears and said " I love you" then said "yes" and finally asked for the ring!... We ran inside and announced to everyone that we had just gotten engaged!
