The Setup

Adam and Nicole have been together for almost seven years so Nicole was hoping there was a proposal around the corner. It was the most perfect day ever!

Three Stone, Round Cut, and Diamonds are from Nicole's mother's and Adam's grandmother's e-rings

Adam and Nicole see each other everyday when they're home together and one morning he called her to ask if she wanted to go to the beach to look for beach glass (something they love doing together). Nicole wasn't feeing well but sad yes anyway. When they got to the beach (Wildwood State Park, Long Island), they walked for a bit and talked like it was any other day. Within a few minutes Adam took their flipflops that they were holding and threw them on the beach and they kept walking. Then, a few seconds later, Adam turned to Nicole and said "I didn't bring you here to look for beach glass, I brought you here to ask you a question." Then he turned to her, took out the ring, got down on one knee and said "Will you marry me?" After crying for what seemed like forever Nicole finally said yes!!
