Nicholas asked the waitress to come to the table and ask to take our picture for the restaurants 25th anniversary. I was all ready for the picture, as Nicholas was rumbling around with his chair hitting the older mans chair behind him trying to make room to get down on his knee. He finally looked over and asked me to marry him and become his wife. The Best feeling ever, I was in such shock, he had to ask me twice |

Ok, I set this up before hand. Jenns best friend terri and her husband Garrett were both in on it. The plan was for the four of us to go out to dinner, and once seated I would say I was going to the bathroom and then I would go find a waitress and get her to help me by taking my camera. But when we arrived at the restaurant and were seated, the bathroom was in plain sight and I knew that If I tried to talk to a waitress, Jenn would see and would ask what that was all about and blah, blah, blah. So I had to change the plan on the go and so I realized I needed to get Terri to take jenn to the bathroom. So everytime Jenn looked away from me at the table, I looked at Terri and tried to get her to read my lips while I mouthed "take her to the bathroom". It was hilarious because Terri didn't know what the hell I was saying, and I must have tried it like 5 times. Finally we got some luck when Jenn's phone rang, and she said it was Aunt Carol, so of course I was like "babe you should probably take it". So to be polite, she went outside to call back Aunt Carol, and Terri was like " what the hell were you saying". So I filled her in, and when Jenn got back Terri asked her to go to the bathroom with her. While they were gone me and Garrett hunted down our waitress and told her to take my camera, and come over to our table in a little while saying it was the restaurants 25th anniversary and ask if they could take our picture for their wall. I set my camera up for the waitress, and put it on the video camera feature so it would be caught on video. But when the waitress came over and got to the point of pressing the button for the video, she accidentally took it off video, and by then it was too late because I had already pulled out the ring and was on my knee, after knocking the old mans chair behind me a few times to get some room, LOL.
It was pretty funny, I only wish the waitress could have gotten it on video.
