Where? The Saloon --Upper East Side, Manhattan

Although we live five blocks away from each other, Rob and I met in a bar on the Upper East Side of Manhattan...45 minutes from our neighborhood. We were introduced by mutual friends and ended up hanging out for a while. At the end of the night, when Rob drove us all home , he and I were so surprised at how close we lived to each other but had never met!

We had our first official date on November 14th.
About two weeks later I wrote in my diary...
"I know this is the craziest thing I'll ever write..but I feel like I could marry Rob!"

Before we met, neither of us had ever really been into the idea of marriage (Rob couldn't even say the "M" word when I first met him!) But within the first six months, we were talking about how we wanted to be together forever. I guess we had both never found the right person before and when you do...you just know!
