Where it all began...

Where? a number of places!

We worked together at KeyFood in Whitestone, but we were not very friendly with each other - I thought that he liked me, but he said that he doesn't remember my working there. He wore a doo-rag and I had braces.

I quit working as a cashier after three months and started to work for a bagel store -- Whitestone Bagel Factory. About two years after I left KeyFood, Anthony coincidentally started to work at the bagel store and his first day on the job was my last day on the job. I quit the day he started to work! But I came back after not working there for three months -- he was already settled in working in the bagel store, so we became friends.

After two years of working together, we became closer. We never flirted, but in late September 2001, something sparked between us. I remember saying at one point to my sister Lynette who used to come in for coffee, jokingly, that I was going to marry Anthony. Who knew that life would have us cross the same road? Who knew that I would find the love of my life without even noticing him? Who knew that a bagel and cream cheese could have such an effect on two young teenagers? On October 3, 2001 we had our first date... Our first date was at the Douglaston movie theatre (Movie World) and we saw the most horrible movie known to man -- "Don't Say A Word". It was so hard to watch it! Half way through the movie, Anthony pulled a Zack Morris! He yawned and put his arm around me! I was really nervous, because I didn't know what to do! After the movie, he kept his arm around me as we walked outside the theater. We took the long way home and stopped at JHS 185 (our Junior High School), we parked in front of the school and talked until 2am! The rest is history! We have been together since October 5, 2001 -officially of course at 9:49pm.
