The Setup

Sean was supposed to be at work while my girlfriends and I enjoyed a nice quiet holiday dinner. What I didnt know was that he was in the kitchen the whole time watching us.

On Thursday, December 21st, 2006. I had gone out to dinner with my friends from high school for our annual holiday dinner. As the waiters came out with our appetizers and cheese fondue, a waiter placed in front of me a silver platter with a box of tissues and a diamond ring.
I looked up and the waiter was Sean, dressed in apron and all. I screamed as did my girlfriends (no one knew except for Jen). He got on his knee, I cried, he asked and I screamed "yes yes yes!" before he could finish. The experience was truly surreal.
