Derick took me out to my favorite restaurant, Barolo's for just a special dinner. When we got home, my family was over, but Sal was "working" on the front door because it was broken (it really was) and told us to use our entrance. I didn't think anything of it. When we walked into our apartment there were candles EVERYWHERE!!! I mean like how you see in the movies, our whole apartment was lit up. I was so confused... I kept on asking Derick why there were candles everything... He kept on insisting that I looked at the fridge. I was stubborn and wanted to know why there were candles. In case you didn't know my mom has a fear of candles being burned in a room with noone in it. Anyways, after asking several times why there were candles, I finally looked at the fridge that Derick was so avid of me seeing. |
• The Ring •
When I looked at the fridge there was a huge sign that read "Jill, will you marry me?" I couldn't believe my eyes... I screamed and turned around to look at him. When I turned around I saw Derick knelt down on one knee with the ring in the box. I was so flabbergasted that I fell down to the ground... not the way I always pictured it. After being in shock for a couple minutes I said yes of course.
