The Place Central Park

The Setup

He thought he was being slick asking me to go to dinner for my birthday (7/05), but I was onto him.

We went to eat at a restaurant across the street from Central Park. It looked beautiful but the food was horrible. We couldn't stop laughing about it that's how bad it was. They served rabbit, that was all I needed to see to know it wasn't for me.
Afterwards we went across the street by the park. He veers me towards the carriages so of course they ask if we want to go for a ride. He says yes we should go for my birthday.
So we went as we pass Tavern on the Green, lit up in all it's glory, he takes out the ring and proposes.
Of couse I was thrilled and pretended to be surprised even though I knew all along, it was still the most romantic night of my life so far, and I loved him for trying to make it so special.
