The Setup

Ronald is a very private person so when I thought of how Ronald would propose, I never pictured him proposing in front of our family or a huge crowd. (Even though I would have loved that.)

Ronald and I became engaged on January 6, 2009. That day Ronald kept telling me that he wanted to buy this really expensive bear for a young family member of his. I told him that I thought it would be much more sentimental if he waited till they were older and then buy it for them. (Of course he didn't want to listen.) Later that evening I went over to Ronalds house. (We had plans to go out that night). I was in his bedroom and he announced that he had went ahead and bought the toy anyway. I was fussing at Ronald while he was walking into the closet to let me see the bear. He pulled out the box the bear came in. I was opening the box (fussing the whole time) and pulled out this really cute bear. I pressed the botton on the bear and was truly stumped and surprised! It was Ronald telling me how much he loved me and that he wanted me to marry him. My proposal was so special and I'll always ahve something to remember it- My New Bear!!!
