The Setup

It was dimly lit. We had the Christmas tree lights on.

He came into the house from his car with a gift box (a shirt size box) He told me that he forgot to give me this gift. Then as I opened it and saw the ring box he said "There is a question that goes along with that gift" "Will you marry me?" I just kept asking him if he was kidding. He said "well, is that a yes?" I replied with a look like "of course!". He popped in a CD with his voice saying "If you are hearing this then you said "yes". And then came on what will be our wedding song and we danced for the first time as an "engaged" couple. :-)
