He was the boy next door.......

When? We met when we were kids.

Where? He was really the boy next door.

We started to date when I was 18. He was a nice guy who I saw pass my house from time to time. We always said Hello & Good Bye. Some times we would have a small conversation & he would always say we should go out some time. I would say maybe, but I would never call.

One night in the spring I remember I was in front of my house with a few friends just hanging out. He was coming home from work & we said hi. Then he stopped & got involved in the conversation my friends were having about music. I thought he was this guy who drove around in his car blasting hip/hop music only. The next thing I know he was talking with them about Rock & all the bands he liked.

Before we went our separate ways I turned to him & asked if we can get together some time & he responded you have my number.

I didn't want to call him, but after a week a friend of mine said to call him & I did. =)

We started to date & have been together for the last 6yrs.
