Heather Shea and Erik Feinberg
Wedding Date: Sunday, May 20, 2007

About the couple

Heather

About Heather
Heather Shea (born Heather Shea) was born and raised in the town of Smith, or Smithtown. After High School, Heather decided to find herself by touring the country. She made it to the bottom of the steps in front of her house and realized that she didn’t own a car, so instead she took a job working at JC Penny’s where she worked as a valet. Interesting how she got a car shortly there after.

After studying at St. Joseph’s College, she obtained a masters degree in Business (although it is filled out in crayon).

In 1993, after a failed attempt at over throwing the Costa Rican government, she decided to become a member of the Smithtown Fire Department Fire Medic Company No. 6 where she received the title (nickname actually) Commander Shea. Heather currently holds her NYS EMT certification and is also an exterior Firefighter.

Erik

About Erik
Erik Feinberg was born July 12, 1976 at Brookhaven Hospital. He grew up in Bayport, attended school there and was an active member of Engine Company No. 1 of the Bayport Fire Department.

Erik went on to college at New York Institute of Technology where he obtained straight “A’s” (the fact that his mother was a professor there had nothing to do with it.).

Erik, after expressing an interest in culinary went on to, well, do nothing associated with food, except eat it.

He did, however, move in to a “Deluxe” apartment in Hauppague with some of his friends and joined the Hauppague Fire Department. After a couple of years, it was time to move out on his own.

Erik moved to a Co-Op in Hauppague that he bought with cash that he had saved by selling several items belonging to his mother, including but not limited to, several pieces of jewelry, the family cat, a spare tire and several priceless antique quilts.

Erik continued to participate in many fire department functions where he met his bride to be.
