Our Engagement! It was a cold winter night, Christmas lights on all the houses and stores, snow flurries swirling in the wind and Christmas music playing from a local restaurant. Brendan brought me down to the harbor at Port Jefferson and we sat on a park bench, the one we had our first real kiss on. We talked for a little while about how beautiful it was there and how much we love each other. Later it got cold and we walked back to the town. Brendan pretended to slip on the ice, and as I bent down to help him up he pulled me close to him and pulled the ring out of his pocket. He asked me to marry him and I kept saying ''no way'', ''are you serious?!" I was shocked and surprised and SO HAPPY. I said Yes & cried and kept laughing while he tried to kiss me. As he put the ring on my finger I could barely see it because of the tears flowing out of my eyes. It was so romantic and amazing, I can't believe it! We are so in love! He is Perfect. The ring is Perfect. We are so blessed.
