We decided to take a trip to Alaska as a celebration for Michael's completion of Law School. The trip was planned about a year in advance and was much anticipated. The day finally arrived and off we flew to Vancouver to begin our journey. We embarked on our cruise a day later and spent many hours on the deck watchng the beautiful scenery pass by. Finally, we arrived in Ketchikan, Alaska on Sunday, August 7th. After a long day of snorkeling and salsa lessons we retired to our room to get ready for dinner. While at dinner, Michael got up and walked out of the room. Suddenly, the Maitre'd came over to the table carrying a bouquet of roses for me with a card that read 'Meet me outside Muster Station 11 for the Sunset'. When I went outside Michael was waiting for me with two glasses of champagne. That's when he got down on one knee and proposed under the setting Alaskan sun.
