The core of Ensemble Champlain is Anne-Marie Tranchida (cello) and Harry Hassell (flute). Together they bring over a dozen years of college and post-graduate training to the ensemble. In addition, they have performed all across the United States and around the globe in almost every conceivable kind of ensemble: from Rock n' Roll bands to Symphony Orchestras, and from intimate Chamber Groups to Broadway Musicals.

The Cello/Flute combination is extremely versatile and lends itself well to almost any event, be it a wedding ceremony, reception, or intimate dinner party. But for even more variety, Ensemble Champlain can be augmented by one or more players for a grander presence at your function. Some of these options include Violin, Piano, Classical Guitar, or Vocalist, for an almost endless palette of sounds and colors. Our extensive repertoire list is constantly expanding, and we can easily accommodate unique tastes and special requests.
