About Me & My Wedding:
Steven and I have been together for 3 years. We went through so much this past year, the passing of my 18 year old brother has turned our lives upside down. My brother Vincent and I are best friends and he loved Steven so much. My family and I have forgotten what is was like to be happy until a few weeks ago when we got engaged. It has brought some light into our lives. We have nothing planed yet but we are looking foward to getting married in 2009. This is how he asked. We went to the city to see Phantom of the Opera, and do the city tourist thing. We went on a horse and buggy ride and right then and there I thought it was going to happen, but to get me worked up he DIDN't ask, I was so mad and said to myself OK it's not going to happen tonight. Then we walk around, and went to a ton of stores. Tiffany's was one of them I started to try on rings and got even more upset at that point I was ready to go home I couldn't take it anymore I though it was the big day but Steve kept me off track. So then we wind up in Rockefeller center he takes me to a little spot and tells me to look up at the tree, "See how shiny that star is I said "yeah" he said "not as shiny as this" he then took out the box and asked he wasn't down on one knee at first and I gave a good punch in the stomach and he got down it was funny he said the nicest things and I was in shock I couldn't talk. Workers for Rockefeller center got a glimpse of what was going on and started to cry and was so happy the stranger took my camera and started to take pictures. It was a great night, Steve did a great job. We had dinner reservations at the "PALM" on 50th street we celebrated with champagne, lobster, and steak it was a romantic & memorable night. We are so happy and want to enjoy being engaged for a while, our wedding will be Jan. 2,2009.
