Oooh-la-la: Parisian Inspirations

by Mia Bolaris-Forget (Staff Writer NYCityWeddings)

Long, cascading veils most certainly make a statement, especially for your ceremony. But, they can get in the way of “getting down” at the reception. Still, many brides may want to wear a signature headpiece. Well, there’s certainly one that’s “comfortable”, practical, and makes just as much of a statement as your very stately cathedral veil.

Taking cues from the French, who are known for knowing a thing or two about elegance, fashion, and romance, French veils replete with feather pin (a la 1920s style) are becoming all the wedding day rage. You’ll look fabulously feminine and every bit the bride, and with all the freedom to move, groove, and enjoy your grand fete.
