Budding Ideas: Putting The “Power” In Flower Power

Just like flowers, love is more beautiful as it blooms. And, that’s why picking the right blooms is so important for many brides to be.

Personalize your petals by:

· Investing in some inexpensive vases for your budding blooms and offering them as favours to guests, ensuring everyone gets a “green” and gorgeous keepsake.

· Pay tribute of a member of the family who perhaps can’t be there or has passed, using some of their heirloom items as flower or plant holders. Simply make sure the heirloom is in good condition and that you appoint someone to ensure it’s carefully collected after your celebration.

· Consider paying homage to older family members, including mom and dad by having your florist wrap the stem of your bouquet in one of their handkerchiefs or scarves.

· Choose a special bloom for each of your bridesmaids, perhaps her favourite flower, one that reminds you of her or one that has a symbolic meaning.
