Tell us about James Anthony and about your products and services.James Anthony Floral and Event Design is a full production house with floral, linen, and lighting.
Tell us what makes you different and what makes your services so special, different and unique.
What makes James Anthony Floral and Event Design unique is that we are not a factory operation. Our slogan reads "Where no two events are the same." We apply this to brides who know just what they want as well as brides who need our guidance to complete their vision of their big day. Ultimately we capture a bride’s imagination and use our expertise to create magic.
Tell us about the latest trends you’re seeing in weddings when it comes to flowers, decor, etc....and how you are keeping up with and/or keeping ahead of the trends
Contemporary arrangements are dominating the floral industry right now.
Explain to the couples why having a skilled and creative florist is essential to such a milestone event and what they should look for.
Having a skilled florist is essential to the atmosphere you create for your wedding. It is the second thing people notice as they enter the reception hall. And it is only second to the hall itself. We think of the flower there as the hall dressing. The hall can be naked, scantily clad, or dressed to the nines. The florist job is to show the bride how to dress the hall to meet her expectations.
How do you want your couples and their guests to remember you when the party is done?
One simple word "WOW!"
What are some things or information YOU need (from the couple) to ensure a job well done?
What you should know when you start planning your flowers is your venue colors and a general plan for the day. Long before the actual event we will have to pin down the event plan more specifically but it is not absolutely necessary before you begin planning and pricing your flowers.
When should a couple book your services?
Couples should speak with us once they have booked their venue. This gives us a head start on the colors that we can and should use.
How many times do you meet with couples before the big day and what sort of things do you discuss at these "meetings of the mind"?
On the average we meet with the bride and groom three times and discuss everything from their venue, her dress, the colors they like, to the time of the event.
