RSVP Question

Looked like this: ____ Will Attend ____ Will Not Attend I wrote them back telling them to change it to this: ____ Will Attend ____ Number Attending ____ Will Not Attend Is it weird? But I don't know. Do you girls even add that line? If at all possible can you show me pics of yours??? Thank you

Hi Girls,

For my RSVP's, originally I had two lines.
Looked like this:

____ Will Attend

____ Will Not Attend

I wrote them back telling them to change it to this:

____ Will Attend

____ Number Attending

____ Will Not Attend

Is it weird? But I don't know.
Do you girls even add that line? If at all possible can you show me pics of yours???

Where the 2 is I will have a blank line and I will fill out depending on how many per invite.

I agree! It just makes things easier.... it is funny though when you get it back and there's a big fat "0" on the card....lol, we haven't gotten too many but still funny

mine is similar to this and the majority of people filled everything out correctly. some people left the number attending blank but wrote out the names on the line (Mr. and Mrs. XXX) and some people wrote just Mr. XXX but filled out the two on the bottom. so I am glad I included all of those because one way or another I've been able to figure out who's coming haha

I love this because it gets rid of that awkward situation when guests invite their own guests to join them without asking first. I don't want to be mean or anything, but like everyone else we are working on a budget and it would mean more to me to have family there vs. My mom's friend's cousin's boyfriend. (just an example, not actually an issue )

This is a great idea. Wish i had thought of it. I am doing an adult only reception (which i indicated on the invite) and for rsvp I had:

__will attend __will not attend
__number attending

and have gotten some weird responses like 2 will attend + 1 baby, or more people then what was indicated on the envelopes. Ugh!

Hmm, maybe I'm missing something, but why can't it just say:

____ Number Attending

____ Will Not Attend

This way, you get your number of how many are coming.

Honestly, I never understand how to fill these out. I always put our names and then a check mark next to "Will attend" or "will not attend," but I don't know if they want a number, even though we put our names at the top.

I don't know! I think when I made my RSVPs, I forgot to insert a line for the name, so I'm just going to make labels and stick them on the back of the RSVP cards. It's most important for me to know how many and WHO are coming.

O I did this too!!! We completely forgot that line and didn't catch it until we got one back! Most people have been writing in the names so it hasn't been too bad, but it still sucks!
