Re: Anyone know a lawyer?I got a speeding ticket for doing 55 in a 30....I HAD to go to court. I plead not-guilty (I didnt have a lawyer but this also was my first offense) and there was a court appointed "lawyer" or what ever he was in the room with the judge. they did their lawyer talking and I got a broken speedometor violation...no points but $100 fine!! I said thank you...walked out...paid the fine and drove home very careful!! | |||

Re: Anyone know a lawyer?If you are fighting the ticket then the police officer has to show up too. If he doesn't (which happens quite often) the judge will reschedule you for another appearance. If the police officer doesn't show up at that appearance the ticket will usually be thrown out. Good luck. | |||
