It'll help build equity and when you guys are ready for something bigger, this house will help in a major way. It's better than renting. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. | |||

Repost from LIF- We bid on a house!!! Update 1/13/08!! 
I am SO SCARED, excited, and nervous. I don't know what to do. On the one hand, it has so much charm. I could see living in it. It doesn't need much work to move in and what it does need is totally doable. However, it's small- 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. We would have the basement, which spans the whole length of the house. My dad and DH could finish it. So it does double our living space from 990 sq. ft upstairs to 1980 sq. ft. I guess I always envisioned something bigger but it does have charm. I'm rambling because I am scared. I've never been so scared in my life- not even when marrying DH! Anyone else feel this way- have second thoughts?
