Handwritting the envelopes on my "THANK YOU" cards? I know the proper way is to print labels or print the font right on to the envelope but I am really anxious to get them out ASAP and began handwritting them with a black marker. They honestly don't look bad but am not sure if this is something my guests are going to look down on me for doing.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? This has been on my mind ALL night and it's really bothering me
Also, they are not all completed and almost half of them are done. My mom screamed at me last night for doing them this way and said it's embarrassing. My DH doesn't see anything wrong with it and thinks they look nice but being he's a guy I can't go by his opinion so decided to turn to my LIW girls.
PLEASE HELP, I am REALLY stressing over this
Jack i really dont think anyone is going to say she hand wrote the address. if they do they have a lot if time ont heir hands lol
I know but my mother is old school and was making me paranoid
Thanks Nic, I love ya girl!!
righ back at ya

Re: Am I terrible for??
I handwrote all of the addresses for my thank you notes. I was always under the impression that that was the proper way to do it - to keep things as personal as possible. People were writing thank you notes long before computers were in each and every home so I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Most of the ones I have gotten have been hand written.

They are supposed to be handwritten. Labels are a last resort.

Re: Am I terrible for??
Handwriting envelopes--that's a crime! Just kidding. It's totally fine. I used labels b/c my handwriting is so terrible and b/c the addresses were already in my computer anyway. So, I was being lazy!
