Hi! I'm getting married July '07 with my ceremony in the skylight and reception in the dome...We got the package with the vienese hour but I think we're going to take it out because it's too expensive. Does anyone know if there's anything else you can get put in with the wedding cake and sampler plate?

I was told about the mini vienese where you pay extra I think $5pp for some more desserts but you don't get the extra hour.

HI... I was orginally getting married in '07 but we changed the date to May'08. My reception is in the Skylight room but FH really has his heart set on the Dome so we might change.

I was offered a mini Vineese(sp??) for $4pp.. this w/ extra dessert plates that are served with the cake.
If you chose to go with the VH that is around $15 extra pp and it includes an extra hour of course.
IMO... the VH is too much!!! I saw the menu and it is overkill!!!!

Our reception is in the Dome Room!
FYI...they are now offering the Chocolate Fountain!!! I asked my BM (Mike Closs) about getting the Creme Brulle (which is TO DIE FOR) for all guests and he suggested the Chocolate Fountain which is set up on a table with dipping items, and he could put some creme brulles out. I THINK (don't quote me, b/c I do not have the paper with me) it was like $5/pp (plus tax and grat).

I wanted the chocolate fountain!!! But now I know that it might be overkill.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I'm Janna. Having our ceremony in the Skylight room, and reception in the Oak Room (which is the one downstairs if you have less than 140 guests.) SomethingBlu had her reception in this room.
We have another payment due November 1st. It always seems like as soon as we finish one payment, another one is due!! 
So any questions you ladies have, feel free to let me know, as we will be going there in a week and a half to make the payment!!

We are getting them...for $4 (incl bow). But I weighed our wants vs other eronious (sp?) extras. Mike worked with us, we spent 2 1/2 hours going over our wants/needs!

Yes. Yes it is. Mike's reasoning for not "throwing them in" is b/c they have to clean them. And that is where the cost is. Whatever.

I don't know what the normal chairs look like, because everytime I have gone there, the chair covers are on!!! Why have them on display if you have to pay extra for them!!! People see them and then assume the chairs come this way!!!
Maybe I'll find the chair covers on my own, although I know FH will tell me that we can't justify the expense!!!

I am not even sure.... My budget for flowers is kinda low...
Monday I will be meeting with Duet.. after booking pics.. I am taking a break
I feel I can't pick out a florist until I know what kind of dreses the BM's and I will have.
I am not looking for dresses until after the holidays.

We're using Signature Florist, but I agree that a florist is something that can wait until 6-8 months before the wedding, when you have an idea of what your BM dresses will be.
Because you could pick a BM dress now, and it may be discontinued by the time of your wedding.
