to workout and stick with it its not gonna be easy... but i must say... all my resolutions ive made have all worked out for the better... im stopped biting my nails and quit cigarettes bc of resolutions

....on a serious note, im gonna try to pay all my bills on time, and clean up after myself, and reduce the "clutter"

I have a few:

1. Be nicer to FH.. I do alot for him but I am also quick to b*tch him out for no reason or get mad at him for something so little.

2. Work on being more decisive and confident in my choices and decisions

3. Actually work out, not just "pretend" to

4. Stop spending so much money and start saving so we can get out of our condo and into a nice big house!

That's a good one, I need to actively work on that. My major resolution is to stop majoring in the minors, sweating the small stuff, etc. I stress WAY too much, and it's starting to take physical manifestations and that's just unacceptable. I'm going to end up killing myself if it continues...so a calmer, more peaceful Ali better be on the horizon for 2009.

1. To finish editing two papers and submit them for publication before May.
2. To go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week.
3. To pay off our debt.

To be a better friend....sometimes I feel like I slack off because of work, school and wedding planning.........

I am really bad at sticking to resolutions...but this year I am going to try and stick to the following mantra:

"I am important and what I want matters."

I know that sounds selfish but I always seem to put others first and not think about what I need/want no matter the cost to myself.

Oh yeah I am also going to try to get in better shape and be healthier.

1. try to be more relaxed and not stress over everything
2.be more organized and not save everything (i just have to tell myself its ok to throw out magazines from last year and toss old clothes from 1998 )
3. Be nicer to FH and have more fun

To stop wasting money. FH and I constantly are going out to eat - I love to cook but I am such a restaurant junkie! We have to get our act together - we have a wedding to pay for damnit!

What I do every year...but this time I gotta step it up. I want to drop another 30 pounds before April! We'll see how that goes!

2. To not become obsessed with working out and eating right
3. Most important- to be kinder to FH as well...he does SO much and I do so much too but I am very quick to jump also...i need to relax!

1. To be more organized about financials, be proactive about 401 K stuff, making better investments etc.

2. Send out some books I am working on. ( I write stuff but NEVER even try to get published)

3. Keep trying to be better about cooking whole grains, organics etc.
