Re: Janna had me thinking....I always go between long hair & just below my shoulders...My hairdresser didn't allow me to cut anything significant prior to the wedding so that I would have a full look! My hair looked beautiful (if I may say so) but I just got tired of not being able to style it for work! When my hair is long, it gets extra heavy! | |||

I ipersonally don't want to cut my hair...I didn't plan to grow it out for the wedding, but grew it out b/c I missed my long hair.... And for those that did chop your hair - did you do it as a "new life, new change" thing, or "I grew it out for the wedding, couldn't wait to get rid of it" or "other" i got the newleywed trim because i had grown my hair so long it was so heavy on the bottom i had to get it cut. i wanted it short at first then i just plain old chickend out maybe next time. but i grew it out for so long i couldnt take it any more i just kept putting it up any way it took to long to do anything with it in the morning.

Re: Janna had me thinking....I've always had longish hair, but I grew it out long for the wedding. As soon as we came back from the HM I got it cut and layered again. Even DH said on the HM, when we got home I had to cut my hair it was even too long for him!!!

With my hair texture, it's easier for me to style when it's long and the length weighs it down, so my hair doesn't look so "big". Re: Janna had me thinking....I usually keep my hair pretty short, although I occasionally let it grow long. After we got engaged I got a nice cut and then let it grow out for the wedding (about 9 months). It grew out long enough that I could wear it in the style I wanted, but was the longest it's been in a very, very long time. I was looking forward to cutting it all off and was so happy when I did.
