Is anyone doing something other than a tuxedo for FH and guys?
I don't really like the tuxedo look - reminds me of a waiter or something. Is anyone having their FH and men wear something other than a tuxedo??

We are thinking we might do FH in a black suit...he doesn't really want to wear a tuxedo either. Not sure yet...he agreed to look at both.

FH might wear a navy suit and groomsmen in a navy blazer, gray pants....

Re: Is anyone doing something other than a tuxedo for FH and guys?
I like the idea of something different-maybe just a tie and no vest for FH-I want him to look different than the guys. I love the idea of having the guys wear dress shirts the same color as the bm's and stil wear a formal suit over it-but I don't know how that would look--I might do just a tie to match the BM's-I totally agree--i want something different-I know there is an old post on this with a pic and i can't find it!

Re: Is anyone doing something other than a tuxedo for FH and guys?
for my brothers wedding him and the GMs wore khakis, sport coats, button downs and (matching) ties. all from brooks brothers, the guys looked great. they had a summertime wedding on the water and it was very fitting. the only thing is the $$$ if you want all the guys to wear the same thing they have to buy it all. But a good sport coat is an investment they will def put to good use. My DH already wore the one he got for the wedding a few times to other functions.

We're doing morning suits...we wanted a different look rather than the standard tuxedo. I love this look:

My husband decided against a tux too.... He picked out a gorgeous Armani charcoal grey pinstriped suit....It was pretty non-traditional, but he looked SO handsome!
