Hair glazing...anyone doing it or did it before the wedding?

I'm going for a haircut on Monday and the girl who cuts my hair has told me about hair glazing...it's supposed to add lots of shine...so I want to make an appointment with her for that too...

But, does it really work?

I have done it before, and it really works great if you have dyed or colored hair. It not only adds shine and a little texture but it also seals in the color. I did it regularly when I was dying my hair red to keep it really fresh looking.

I'm not doing it for my wedding since I went back to my natural color. I'm just getting a trim prior to the wedding.

I personally don't think it adds too much shine, but it does give the color a kick.
