Re: any jan 04 brides doing a winter wonderland theme?
I am getting married in Jan04 also. I am not really doing a theme. My BM's are wearing chocolate brown dresses with ivory sashes. I had also ordered runners for the reception tables in the same color. I am not having flowers on the tables, just pillar candles and maybe rose petals, I like the idea of all candle light also.. Where can I find faux fur shawl/coats? Purple sound very elegant. What kind of flowers are you doing?

Re: any jan 04 brides doing a winter wonderland theme?
i went to flowerama in elmont for the shawls for my bridesmaids and they come in either bright white faux fur or off white or cream faux fur. we paid like 60 dollars which isnt so bad . my flowers are all white in a tall glass vase and the florist is using this crinkly paper that they use for easter baskets and with the candle light it has this ice effect. im doing lots of candles also and twinkle lights.

my FI's sister had a winter themed wedding. She used white poinsettias for the centerpieces. It was beautiful!

We are getting married in January, but because we are having the reception at the Vineyard Caterers, we decided to go with a wine/winery theme.
