My e-party review with pics!!
It was a WONDERFUL time!!!
Here is my review:
Restaurant: Metro 53, NYC A (plus plus)
I was so thrilled with the place!! We had a 3 hour cocktail/buffet dinner. We had two waitresses constantly providing drinks for guests and passing around appetizers. The food was great! (Or so I hear, I never had a chance to eat)! Metro 53 provides excellent party packages and were very accomodating to our needs; we asked for a specific dish not on the party menu and they were more than willing to provide it! It was a great atmosphere; very casual and intimate. We reserved the back of the restaurant for ourselves and it worked out so well! The Yankee game was that night and the many t.v.'s kept the boys happy!!!
Flowers: City Blossoms, NYC A
I was very happy! I actually only wanted a few centerpieces but they were totally willing to work with me and I was able to get more than expected! We ended up doing small rose centerpieces which worked great for the size of the tables!
Cake: Venieros Bakery, NYC A+
Venieros is a New York staple, so the place can really speak for itself! I have been going there for cakes and pastries for years. I ordered a standard sheet cake with vanilla and chocolate custard. I DEFINITELY recommend Venieros to anyone who has never been!
Make-up: Darien from MAC Christopher St. A (plus plus)
I was so happy with it! MAC cosmetics does 40 minute make-overs which is what I got! She gave me the look I wanted and I was thrilled!
Favors:
Chocolate leaves in a cellophane bag from www.keepsakefavors.com! Very cute and simple to assemble!
