Breezes in Bahamas Review

I just got back last night from 5 days down in Breezes Bahamas. For all of the girls that were asking about the Bahamas in general for a honeymoon, I would highly recommend it.

The hotel was spotless, the staff was friendly, the food was good, the service was fantastic...
They had one restaurant there called Garden of Eden that was so cute and romantic, they tables have loveseats instead of regular chairs.

There was always something going on to keep you entertained. The drinks were not watered down at all, and they are always by yourside offering you a refill.

What I liked most about Breezes is that we were able to use the facility for the full five days. When I was in Cancun and Dominican Republic, they took my braclet upon checkout. Our flight yesterday left at 7:20pm. They let us use the faclility up until 4pm when we had to leave for the airport even though I checked out at noon. The other hotels make you sit there twidling your thumbs for three hours while waiting. We ate lunch, played Monopoly and Sorry, took pictures around the property and swang on the two person swing for a while...It was great.

If you are looking to go for a winter honeymoon, I woudn't suggest it though beacsue the temperature is teh same as FLorida's. It could get very cold, down to the 40's at times. Other than that, it's beautiful down there...

Will update with picture tonight...I have to get to work.

Glad to hear you had such a nice time. I went to Breezes Bahamas last summer with two of my girlfriends and we had a blast...although, I must admit, I probably would have enjoyed myself more with FH....I missed him alot.

Jen~

Just tell me when you will be in MV, I would love to meet you!

I went away with Dawnie to the DOminican Republic in 2001 and she got engaged as we stepped off the plane. It was so cute!

I know, I don't think I will ever be able to go away without Brian again. There is one ebautiful picture of us at that place Garden of Eden. I am going to see if my father can scan it for me because I brought the film to a place that doesn't make the CD's. :(

Re: Breezes in Bahamas Review

Sounds like a wonderful time. I went about 5 years ago and had the same opinion. It was really a top-notch place--drinks, entertainment, the room. The food could have been a step up---we loved the one Italian place though (I forget the name).

Met some nice couples' too.

Can't wait to see pics.

Re: Breezes in Bahamas Review

Food wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be. Pastafari was cute, but I thought it was a little bland. I loved the make your own sundae bar...I put back on 5 pounds this week. I am starting Atkins again this morning.

PaleBride~

Liberty Travel has a preffered club that gives you really good discounts for Bahamas. It cost us $1680 for two people for 5 days/4 nights.

Promise I'll get some picks up there tonight. I'm goign to see if I can get them scanned this morning.
