Shuttle or bus from hotel to ceremony/reception location.
Hello ladies! I need some help. Our wedding ceremony and reception are in the same place. The nearest hotel is about 20 minutes away--the Huntington Hilton, which based on what I have heard here, is a stay away from. We were very impressed and got similar pricing from the Roslyn Claremont, a hotel we have had excellent experiences with in the past. We also really like the idea of having all guests stay in one hotel to facilitate easy rehearsal dinner and brunch. Also, since it is not much different in price from the others, we prefer that. Well, in order to do this, we want to offer some sort of shuttle service from the hotel to the ceremony/reception site. Anyone have any experience with doing something like this and/or have any recommendations? Thanks ladies.

Re: Shuttle or bus from hotel to ceremony/reception location.
I am getting married at the Watermill and the Holiday Inn Express in Hauppauge has a shuttle bus. If you book at least 10 rooms, they provide free shuttle buses to and from your reception. Since I hvae quite a few people who will be staying over so they dont have to drink and drive, this works out perfect. Even though its "express" the hotel is pretty big. Is this what you are looking for.
Some hotels have shuttle service but its to and from the airports not the actual reception. This is why this is ideal for me. If you would like mor eino, FM me and Ill give you the info :)

Try asking the Roslyn Claremont. One of the hotels we blocked rooms at gave us a list of 'recommended vendors' (similar to what catering halls do); among them was a shuttle bus service. Or, just get a quote from a limo company.
