menus for rehearsal dinner?

I don't know if this is customary but I am doing menus for the rehearsal dinner - maybe one per person or 3 per table or so. What do I write on there? Should I write "Rehearsal Dinner" under our names? Or just right our names. And then should I put the date of the dinner or the date of the wedding?

I wrote XXXX& XXXXXX's Rehearsal Dinner October 9, 2003 ( date of dinner) Also I made one for each person because I also wrote a thank you at the end of it so I thought it would be nice for everyone to have one.
