table place cards
Ok, I have a silly question.... Those table # cards for guests...are they included in the invitation package? Are they expensive? Does the hall include them? I am clueless. I saw someone on this board used votive candles with the table# and guests name printed on clear vellum paper...they looked so pretty...but I don't know if it would be cheaper to buy about 75 votives (we are planning on having about 150 people) or to use the paper place cards.... Anyone have any idea?

OH...I saw that, too....at an expo at the Huntington Hilton. That was nice...but it reminded me of a menu at a restaraunt. lol

Re: table place cards
Most reception places will give you table cards, but they will have the logo of the reception site.

Re: table place cards
My hall supplies me with the place cards but I am using my own and putting them in this place card frame. I am using the gold one.

Re: table place cards
ask your hall if they supply cards for you. You can always decorate them if they are too plain for you.
You can do the board, others described, or make your own, so m any varieties/designs/shapes/themes.
YOu can do the volitive too. The holder costs $.50 at Michaels when on sale. Plus tea lights (those are CHEAP, you can get 100 for $3 when sales too) + cost of vellum & Time to make. I THINK WORTH IT!!!

Re: table place cards
Thanks ladies! It's OVERWHELMING how many little things there are. I still haven't tackled the BIG things. Actually...I'm still waiting for the FIRST thing...which is to get engaged! My b/f told me to be patient...I think he already has the ring...but I want to be suprised! We've already gone to an expo and already opened a joint account...ANY DAY NOW PAUL! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!
