trying to choose a HM destination- italy,hawaii, fiji?

I've been to Italy -- loved it! Esp Florence & Venice
Going to Hawaii on our HM -- sure we'll love it!
Never been to Fiji, but supposed to be lovely.

Some things to keep in mind: Hawaii is long plane ride. Fiji is even longer. italy is 8 1/2 hours if i remember.

My FH always makes the point to distinguish between a "vacation" and a "trip." When we went to italy, it was a trip----lots of sight-seeing and we were on the go between several cities. It was a blast, but honestly a little tiring.
When we've gone to Bermuda or Cancun (another beachy places) they were more vacations. Did some sightseeing (in Bermuda) but much more relaxing at the pool/beach, lounging.

I guess what I"m trying to say is--it depends on what you and your FH want in a Honeymoon.

we're doing hawaii. haven't booked yet. hopefully tomorrow or next week.

but oooh italia........yessssss that's nice too. i would love to do tuscany and surrounding areas.

so i am no help in helping you choose! but the flight to italy is shorter than the one to hawaii.

Thanks for your advice. We recently went to St Lucia and loved it (which was a much shorter trip than Hawaii) and beautiful. I guess you're right though- it comes down to sightseeing or relaxing on the beach... It's a tough decision...
