Let me explain my dress concept to and tell me what you think PLEASE.: edited to add the pick of the minnie dress

For the ceremony I will have a removable ball gown skirt like the one shown, which when removed the minnie dress is revealed. My dress is being made and she is half way done, but I am not sure how I want the neck line, v-neck like the one shown or mock neck or off the shoulders.

Also since the dress is short I can't decide on shoes---open toe/bare legs or close toe/with stockings. (I am getting married in the winter I know but who cares).

FI thinks I am crazy for putting so much thought into this......("just pick a dam neckline"!!!)--his words. Am I being a maniac, help me.

This gown is absolutely gorgeous.

I think you should have it exactly as shown, and I thinking something like what I wore for shoes. Closed toe, with sexy strap that wraps over your foot and around your ankle! Mine had crystals doing that.

Love the neckline the way it is shown in the pic. I would go for a closed toe shoe.

WOW, what a unique and beautiful dress. I love the neckline on the picture for the ballgown, but I am not sure how it would look for the short dress.
The top stays the same, just the bottom part is to be taken off, right?

Right N&L2004 -that is where I am having the problem. I need to pick a neckline that will compliment both dress styles.

I think the neckline on the ballgown would be gorgeous with the shorter dress. Very very elegant. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong either way!

I'm with Mistyeyed on this - I think the neckline is very elegant and don't think you could go wrong with it. Very unique dress, I absolutely LOVE it!
