I bought one a few weeks ago, the Baby Mozart, $20 for a DVD 
Lyla has mostly liked it, but I definitely have to make sure her mood is *right* before putting her in front of it. Once she fell asleep in her bouncy seat watching it, a couple of times she must have been overtired b/c she cried and didn't want anything to do with it, and today she watched the whole thing in her swing in the morning and then fell asleep for a while! Keep trying.

I have 3 of those of my shower registry but I am sure it will be a few months before the baby really likes it, or I want to put the baby in front of the TV.

Geno loves his Baby Einstein DVD. He watches it while I make dinner and in the morning on the weekends if he wakes up b4 6am. I get an exta 1/2 worth of sleep!! I love Baby Einstein!!!

were talking about a DVD that is desinged to entertain children up to 5 years of age.
The first in the collection is called Baby Einstein. It's a bunch of toys against a black or white screen with classical music in the background. It's very visual for young children.
There is a whole series, Baby Bach, Neighborhood Animals, (I dont know the names of all of them)
It's a must have for any new mom!!

JULIANNE LOVES BABY NEPTUNE- water water everywhere! actually its tolerable for adults because of the classical music. I think we may have won a groove into the DVD from playing ti soo much
she loves it!
we have also recently started her on baby galileo...stars and planets...also likes DORA
thank g=d for repeat play on DVDS
gives mommy and daddy time to have dinner...or take a shower!
