I wouldnt want to plan it again, or pay for it or have any of the running around. It was a wonderful day but a lot of work that Im not ready for anytime soon :D

Although Im always a little envious (and extremely happy) for a couple when I go to a wedding. I know what a magical day that is (had no clue that it was like that beforehand) and its really a once in a lifetime thing.

I would do it over and over and over again if I didn't have to pay for it.

Seriously, if I could do it again without taking away that feeling of a once in a lifetime event, I would. I feel like it went by so fast, I want to do it again so I can have more time there.

He's due on Sept. 20th Hopefully he will be making an appearance soon

Hell no. I'd be happy to plan someone else's...but not mine.

I have a wedding to go to on Sunday, and I am such a wreck from our planning that I don't even want to go. I feel like I'll be too critical and that I'll get mad at the bride if she does something stupid.
This board has made me a psycho when it comes to weddings.

I am with Stef with the fact that you realize SO MUCH MORE once you go through your own wedding, I think that is why people go into the wedding business after, perhaps that is something you would like to entertain Wacky? I'd like to plan another or be in someone else's wedding since I haven't been to a close friend's in a long time and I just want to go and have a blast again!

I miss the more creative aspects of planning, but I really don't miss all the stress and time consumption involved!

I'm happy I spent so much time energy and $$ into the best day of my life but I'm ready to move on now to the next stage in life

Oh god and can one of the mommy come in to tell everyone how getting pregnant is not a good way to stop the post wedding blues! I know you guys are kidding but those comments are scaring me.

In some ways I wouldn't mind doing the planning again. There were things I wished I did differently that could be corrected now. But it was also a long hard year of planning, saving, compromising, running around etc that I can't say I want to do that all over again. Sort of like high school, I had fun but once was enough.

But DH really misses it - at least once a week he says he wishes we were working on the wedding and loved the anticipation

Wacky, take a class, no I do not want to do it again. I enjoyed the day. No a baby will not take away the blues, it just might give you the blues

Shamma has the right idea..take a class. Most of what we miss about wedding planning is the busy work...the creative and fun stuff. I'm going to start taking flower design classes with my best friend. I've also started on the very expensive scrapbooking hobby. Poor, poor DH. Literally.

I don't want to plan no weddings, once was bad enough... I enjoyed the day, but the stress isn't worth it to do it again!!!

DH and I are now in Lala land marriage wise, although we're both stuck working OT since coming back from honeymoon!!! But we haven't had any fights which existed when we planned the wedding

I would defintely do it again!! After we got married, our family came up to us and told us to get remarried just so we can have the party again!!

I loved the whole wedding experience though, and have really wonderful memories.
