Furniture from Target?

I'm looking to order a bathroom shelf and something for the living room. I found a couple of nice and inexpensive pieces from Target. Has anyone had any luck with any of their furniture pieces? I would like it to last for a couple of years. I'm so sick of the piles on the floor and the arguments with DH about all the crap. Let's buy a bookcase and other furniture so our apartment won't look so cluttered!

We got our coffee table from Target and I like it alot. Some of their stuff is very nice. It should definitely last you a few years.

I got my desk and 3 bookcases from there - I have had them for 3 years, they are all still in perfect shape and look great. They weren't too expensive either, and easy to put together.

We got 2 bookshelves there and 2 years later no signs of wear...

For our bathroom cabinet we went to Home Depot, they were cheaper...

My sister has a couple of pieces of furniture from target. It's great for the price. No better or worse than the stuff you get at ikea.

I got a table for my hallway (one of the long thin ones, don't know what the "official" name for it is) and a matching end table for my living room. We get compliments on them all the time, they are really nice and were a good price compared to what the furniture stores were asking for comparable pieces. I say go for it!

We have bought our microwave cart and end table for the bedroom at target....I love both pieces! Veru sturdy and sooo nice looking...definately go for it!

Target stuff always looks really nice but whenever i see the display model, the finished is scratched and the MDF/press board underneath is revealed. That always scared me away from buying anything from them. I guess if you are careful, its not a problem but we are like wild animals in our house

Thanks for the feedback! I'm so in the mood to clean up the clutter in the apartment. Plus we need a place to put the wedding gifts. They're still in boxes in the dining room! (of course, we just got back earlier this week!). Thank God I'm on summer vacation. This will be my summer project. Hopefully I can give you a good report when I'm done!
