Favorite part: picking out the wedding rings

Least favorite part: I can go on forever here. I didn't particularly enjoy planning my wedding at all. In addition to planning a wedding, I had to deal with DH's grandmother dying, my grandmother so close to death (she died two days after my wedding), and MIL being diagnosed with cancer and going through emergency surgery (she'll be OK). Needless to say, my family members were not really available to help because they had to deal with these crises. Don't mean to be depressing - sometimes life gets in the way!

A lot of this planning and making things come together is so stressful right now that nothing has been my favorite

My favorite so far is the planning of a family and talking about buying a house..its all very exciting for me . I alos love my dress and cant wait to wear it!

I've met women who absolutely loved planning their wedding. I do envy them!

THE DRESS!!!! I can't wait to be all done-up pretty!
PAYING is a given.
I am also not enjoying registering. Part because I had to start the general stuff alone, the choices seem so permenant, I don't yet have a house to decorate in mind with, and I also don't know what guests will spend.

My favorite parts were getting engaged- having everyone so happy for you, looking at the ring, I felt like such a diva. Also loved looking for the dress, and the times I have spent w. my Mom, MOH and BMs. After hectic times (picking out BM dresses, fittings) we go to the diner for dinner, and chat about the wedding. That has been such fun.

Least favorite has been dealing w. the guest list. Also, coordinating everyone, and having to make sure the timeline and little details are all set up and perfect

I am trying to enjoy it though, I only have 6 weeks to go and then I am sure I will be sad its over

Favorite: Being engaged, people wanting to see my ring & loving it, asking the favorite people in my life to be my BMs, looking for "the" dress, finding "the" dress, booking the hall, photographer & band, looking for BM & FG dresses...ok, it's ALL been fun!! Well, except for...

Least favorite: Dealing with my Groomzilla when it came down to the date. We signed & re-signed the contract for the Hamlet 4 - F O U R - times b/c Groomzilla was indecisive about Friday's, then Labor Day weekend, then Friday's, then Labor Day weekend. The other would have to be deciding on our officiant. Only THE most important part of our wedding - who is marrying us - it's been one argument after another. We are non-theists and his cousin is a Monsingior (sp?) so we're getting pressure from the family & feeling personal guilt. But the first dilemma was settled...so I'm sure this one will be settled in no time.

Favorite: Just the plain old fact knowing I AM GETTING MARRIED

Least Favorite: Dishing out ALL THIS $$$$$

Favorite: Dress shopping! I just loved trying on wedding gowns. I must of tried on at least 40. I think I was excited and depressed at the same time when I got my gown. I knew that would be it...NO MORE TRYING ON GOWNS

Least: I would say trying to save. It is so hard being that all of our friends are getting married before us and we are in their weddings.

Deciding on my dress was the favorite part of the whole wedding planning.

Least favorite: Planning the 2 Pre-Wedding Dinners for my mother's 30+ OTT guests at 2 fancy five-star restaurants. Also, arranging transportation from ceremony--reception AND reception--hotel for these same group of 30+ OTT guests as they demand it so desperately.

MY FAVORITE PART IS PROBABLY WHEN I AM GOING TO SEND OUT MY INVITES AND GET THE RESPONSE CARDS BACK......I'D SAY THE WORST PART IS PAYING FOR EVERYTHING

planning with my fh, it is so cute to see him so excited about the big day.... i loved my shower to
least is dealing with people who have there own agenda for our day

favorite thing: knowing that we'll be married real soon!
booking the florist!! i met with only one, and was so incredibly impressed! love flower michele!

the dress wasn't as exciting for me as it is for everyone else. i tried on six gowns, loved three, picked one. one day, just me & my mom. i was more excited to pick out BM dresses. that was fun!

least favorite: worrying about all the small details now that we're getting real close.
& dealing with my church!!

I haven't really even booked anything yet so I don't have a fave...yet!



However I have a least fave already...tell me if this upset anyone else:


The 100's of letters, postcards, emails, and phone calls (and recalls) from vendors that I never heard of. I hate having my name sold like that.

So far the best thing has been the fact that FH and I get to yak about all the stuff we are doing for the wedding

I hate everyone else's two and/or three cents.

I agree with the two cents of everyone. we would be done planning by now if everyone left us alone lol

Favorite part was finding my dress and booking the reception hall at the Watermill
Least favorite part: was arguing with my mother as to who should be cut off the invite list (people I didn't even know were being invited) and setting up the tables seating chart.

Least favorite part, planning who will be my Bride Mades. It made me realize I have no friends!

Instead of trying to narrow down the BM list, like most people, I still have to find mine
