I started the DAY after I got the job! So I'm into my third week now. I absolutely LOVE it. Its so much fun.

basically, I've been meeting with hotel managers (to be their in house florist) and brides, and putting together floral proposals - talking about different flowers, arrangements, etc. The day of the wedding I go to the location to coordiate the set-up (sprinkle rose-petals as needed...)
At the hotel meetings, I often get a tasty lunch in their fabulous restaurants. And one of our potential clients in in Half Moon Bay, which is always a nice place to visit!
Today we're headed to Grace Cathedral to see about getting on their preferred vendor list. (Grace Cathedrals is SF's equivalent of NYC's St. Patricks)
