RSVP Question..getting nervous and a little annoyed!!

Can we discuss why people are so rude!!!! I have about 2 and a half weeks until my rsvp date and have not heard from half of the people. I know for a fact that most of them ate yeses. Why not just send the thing back? I know my mom and I are going to end up calling like 50 people!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!

People procrastinate.... it happens to everybody. You will probably get RSVP's the week of your wedding.

I HATE people that do that- isn't it annoying. It's normal though- we had the same thing...

IT REALLY IS THE WORST! I call my mom every day for the new ones. Today we only got 1!!

Not to mention the women who is doing my placecards needs them by July 20th because she will be out of the country in Aug!!! I am definitely going to be making lots of phone calls!!

my fiance is the same way with not responding, luckily I do those things for him... you can always give the placecard lady all the names and then whoever says no you dont use..

You thank that is bad...listen to this. I sent an invitation to a couple. I saw the husband the other day and he tells me...I wanted to send the response back but my wife said that we should wait awhile b/c we will seem to anxious. HOW STUPID CAN PEOPLE BE?????!!!!!!!! I WAS SO ANNOYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My response date was last Friday-- I don't want to tell you how many we were missing, and one is a co worker that I saw everyday until yesterday!!!

Don't feel bad..i still have a good number of outstanding people who haven't RSVPd.. FMIL called me today with a notepad to call her people up and yell at them lol

I had to call a good friend of mine to ask if he was coming and he said, "Oh, I'm sorry, usually my mom sends those back for me. I totally forgot about it!" Ummm... We're 27/28 years old here! I had to laugh...

Ya that is how it is. For my eparty we had the same problem. So I am prepared to deal with it for the wedding. People don't get it.
Since you have a deadline with your vendor, I suggest calling these nit wits asap.
I don't know what is wrong with people. Its not like THEY have to pay for the stamp.

I know it is stressful, they will come in closer to the wedding in drips and drapss. Get this one - when I called the guests who didn't RSVP - they said "you know I am coming, why do I have to send the response back".
How was I suppose to know who was definaely coming and who wasn't, plus I was using the response cards to organize table seating, I needed them.. some people!

I had RSVPs come THREE days before my wedding.

People just don't get it, don't stress, call them if you like otherwise theres nothing you can do.

Oh it's horrible, isn't it?? We got a whole bunch of RSVPs the first week or two and then they started really slowing down and by the RSVP date, we were still missing about 40 cards! Our wedding's next Sunday and we STILL haven't gotten back a few...one came in just yesterday, if you can believe that!!
