Almost 2 the one year mark AHHHH.... How did you ladies decide on a band/DJ
At first we werent sure band or dj now I think we have decided on a DJ but how do u decide which DJ u want? did you go to hear them play how is this done? when u make an appt. how do u hear them????? might sound dumb but I honestly have no idea.

We knew that we wanted a DJ. My mom's friend was going to play but when I called him, he told me that he was no longer DJing so I had to find a DJ. I took recommendation for all my friends (this was before I was om LIW) and I called Let Us Entertain You. Not only were they recommended by the friend but Bill (the owner and MC) is a very good friend of Chippatrid's mom. We went to go see him (spent 2 hours with him), he showed us video of alot of his jobs and when my FI asked about a specific song, he went right to the computer and downloaded for him. As soon we left Bill, my FI and I just knew that we went him to be the entertainment for our wedding.

We picked out a DJ that we had seen at a wedding before. They had the entire crowd dancing at an afternoon wedding and were just so fun!
IV Generation is who we are using. Their office is right across from Majestic Gardens in Rocky Point.

We went with a band...but it was one we had both heard a couple of times. Before we decided on the band, we considered a DJ/MC that we loved - also heard/saw them at another wedding. If you didn't like anyone you saw at a wedding/party...I'd visit places. Ask to see videos - see how they work the crowd, IF they work the crowd, etc.
We were going to go with LI Sound - they're in Holbrook, I believe. Chris was the MC - he was GREAT! Good Luck!

We saw our DJ at a bridal showcase at the marriott uniondale.The name of the company is Get In Tune DJs,glen was a sweet hear to deal with very and very classey.And his prices were very fair.There web site is www.getintunedj.com.We booked over a year in advanced.
