Love table or the whole party

How many of you are having a "love " table or diais (sp?)?

How many of you are having a head table with the whole bridal party?




How many of you are including bridal party dates at the "head" table.


I think the whole party should be together at the "head" table. Traditional. Nice for pictures. However, one of my bm said she wants to sit with her people.

I don't like it when the bridal party is split from their dates. I don't think it is nice to make them sit apart. JMO.

We are having a dais for the two of us and then the bridal party and their dates at a table nearby. I agree about splitting up the BP and their dates. It's not right. Why bring someone then? Just not fair to their dates. IMO.

We are having a sweetheart table and then a separate table for the bp and their dates.

we are having a dais table and 2 bridal party tables so they can sit w/ their dates. i didn't like having to separate them with their signif. others.

I think I would like to have my Best man and his Date and Matron of Honor and her Husband at a table with Dan & Me.....wonder if this can happen? Then the rest would be at other tables....not a big Head table I don't think...just a thought tho still...

We are having a sweetheart table for the 2 of us & our BP will be at the 3 surrounding table.

I like a traditional head table. I dont mind if we include dates of the bridal party at the head table.. I just dont know if I like the idea of the bridal party spilt all around the room, each sitting with his or her own familes. One BM is insisting she sit at the table her friends will be at. What should I do?

i am going to have the full head table (planing 9 people in my bridal party plus us... depending on who it is.. they may end up sitting there

we are have having out own table, with the BP & DATES at the closest table to us.
No I too don't think it's fair to separate BP from their date.

We had our own table & the bridal party were scattered all over at different tables with their dates/significant others

We'll sit at a sweetheart table. Our BP will sit w/their dates/S.O.'s at 2 tables nearby. Since they'll be separated for most of the day, the least we can do is let them eat together.

We will probably have a little sweetheart table for the two of us, and then let the bridal party sit with their dates/family/friends like normal guest.

We are going for a more casual nontraditional feeling though, so I guess its a little different for us.

FH and I are sitting at a dais by ourselves. Our BP will be sitting at nearby tables with their significant others. We don't want anyone to sit away from their significant other and if we sat them all up there with us it would be too many people. Plus, the way I look at it, FH and I probably aren't going to have too much alone time on our wedding day, so sitting alone, even if its to eat or toast each other, at least we'll have a few moments together at our table.

Fh and I will have our own table and we will have our BP and their significant others sit at the 2 tables nearest to us.

We had just the 2 of us...and then the BP was split...where they would sit if they were not in BP

It turned out that they were only split into 4 tables...all GM at one...the bestman with MIL...and all of our jrs and FG (his children)...2 BM at a table and the other 2 at another

I dont think its right for the guest if the bridal party to sit alone

We're having a dais and the bridal party will sit with their families etc. but their table will be next to ours

Just a table for the 2 of us. Bridal party won't even all be at the same table b/c they come from different parts of our lives (family, hs friends, college friends, etc) and so will be sitting with the people they will have the most fun with!!

We are going to have a dais table but also include our parents at that table. The bridal party will sit separately so they can be with there dates...

Is that still done?? we did not do it. I hated it when I was separated from my hubby and I was at a wedding that he was in and I knew no one there Everytime he came over to keep my company, they called him again. Anyway, I think its not a great feeling when the date is separate from the BPM

I also think that each BP memeber should be able to sit with his/her date.

That's why our dais table is just going to be me and FH and our parents. I don't want to try to cramp the whole BP and dates all toghether so they will sit with there dates and friends. Since all of my BP do not know each other (some from college and then later in life) it makes the most sense.

We are having our own table and then the bridal party will be scattered with there husbands, families. We feel everyone all around will be more comfortable that way. We are going to have formal pics taken of them anyway .

we are havign a love table - this way the bridal party can sit with their dates (some are in bp and some aren't!) and also with other firends they might want to catch up with!!
