Essential New York Bride experience
I need a little help! My best friend is getting married in 2004 and is coming to visit me (her MOH) in NYC from Toronto in 2 weeks. I would love to do something that all NYC brides get the chance to do - something unique to this great city. I've made an appointment for her at Vera Wang's.... is there anything else that no NYC bride can do without? I would love to give her a great NY experiece as well as a great pre-wedding experience. Please help! MOH in desperation.

Re: Essential New York Bride experience
Try the Bridal Building on Broadway! Or go look at BM dresses at RKBridal. There is also a bridal salon at Saks and Bergdorf! Have fun!

Definitely Saks and Tiffany's - If you are doing saks I would call early for an apt. I had so much fun there - I hear bergdorfs gives champange when you go to their salon

Re: Essential New York Bride experience
You may even want to do something like Saks and Bergdorf's and Tiffany's and THEN head over to The Plaza for tea!

Thanks so much for all the great ideas! I can't wait until next weekend when she gets here. Do I have to make a reservation for high tea?

If you are going to Tiffany's, you should also go to Cartier

Re: Essential New York Bride experience
Definitely high tea.
Also, call Kleinfeld and tell them you have a VIP from Toronto coming to try on gowns...they'll arrange to have a car sent to pick you up! And every bride should get the chance to try on gowns at Kleinfeld.
